New Life is a small group Bible Study that meets before services on Sunday morning and Wednesday evenings. This class is comprised of two levels. Level 1 focuses on basic Biblical truths. Level 2 is a deeper study into the Scripture. These courses are essential in helping you become rooted and grounded in the Word.
Life Classes are during Wednesday Night Bible Study. They may be in a small group or a large congregation setting. These classes rotate and change throughout the year but the purpose is always the same: learning and incorporating principles from the Word of God into our daily living to bring us a better life!
The children’s ministry of The Anchor Church endeavors to nurture, teach and train our children through relevant lessons, stimulating music and lots of activities- Learning about Jesus should be FUN! Our goal is to create disciples of Christ who know Jesus loves them and has big plans for their life!
Our young people are a vital and vibrant part of the church! Young people aged 12-18 meet weekly on Wednesday evenings for their own service and on Friday nights for "Friday Night Hangs". Young People who are 18-30 and unmarried are considered our Young Adult group. They have their own events and sometimes come together with our younger group for worship, learning and fun! Nowhere on planet Earth will you find greater young people with more passion for the things of God. Come be a part of this amazing group!
Second Chance ministries is for anyone that needs to begin again. We provide recovery programs that deal with issues such as alcohol and chemical dependency, abortion and grief, with more programs in development.
If you are struggling with the loss of a loved one this support group will offer comfort and encouragement. Each session includes a video seminar and group discussion with people who have been through the pain of loss. For the current meeting schedule contact Annie Brown 740-684-2201
A 12-week course dealing with substance abuse and anger issues. Education for possible reasons for this behavior and skills to overcome these issues are taught by certified instructors with personal experience. A.C.T.S. class is every Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00pm.
This 8-week private small group is designed to bring together women who have faced an abortion in their past. We provide a safe and confidential environment through which God sets women free from the pain and bondage of a past abortion.
